Security and ID badges

With the new security system being installed around the hospital sites, restricted areas have become more secure for staff and patient safety. Please can everyone help keep these areas safe and secure and remember to keep all fire doors closed, all restricted areas secure and all staff rooms with personal belongings secure and safe.

The security team will be patrolling the areas day and night, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask or send emails to tsdft.securitymanagement@nhs.net

ID badges

Opening times for ID badges are 10am- 2pm Monday – Friday (excluding bank holidays).

If you are not sure if your badge needs to be updated to work on the new security system, please email tsdft.idbadgeapplication@nhs.net, we can check on the system by visiting the security office at Kitson hall to update you.

If you need access to restricted areas ID badge management will need an email from your line management with your names and the areas you need to get access to, we can add this access to your badges remotely.

If you have had an application put into us for an ID badge, please do not come to the office until you get an email from security to say your badge is ready to collect. Alternatively, we can send the badges in the internal post, just add the area to send the badges in the boxes at the bottom of the form where it states ‘ provide address for delivery of the badge’
