Every year, the hospital choir reforms to sing at two special events; our annual little ones’ service for families who have lost a baby or young child, and the hospital carol service. The little ones’ service will be on Sunday 03 December, and the carol service in the week before Christmas (date TBC).
New singers are always welcome – every year, the choir is a mixture of new faces and those who have sung before. We also need a pianist. We will start practising fairly soon, as no-one can make every rehearsal, but we always pull it together in the end. Practices are always at lunchtimes in the chapel at Torbay Hospital, dates to be advised. The choir is an open, friendly group and singing is good for mental wellbeing and physical health, so what’s not to like?
