Frederique is a booking clerk for the Patient Access Centre (PAC) located in the Bayview basement at Torbay Hospital. While on her day off this week she was out driving and noticed a van broken down on the side of the road. Frederique kindly pulled over to offer some assistance when she realised who it was. It was the gastroenterology community van with our specialist liver nurse, Sheila Needs.
She quickly introduced herself to Sheila as the lady that books her outpatient clinics and to see if she could be of any help. Sheila accepted a lift back to the hospital from Frederique where she could sort arrangements with the van and rearrange her community patients.
Frederique was greeted by Sheila Needs down in the PAC later in the week to thank her again for helping out in a real time of need. Thank you, Frederique for being a star.
