Congratulations to Nik Hill who has been awarded the national Chief Nursing Officer healthcare support worker award from NHS England.
Nik was nominated for their excellent work supporting healthcare support worker colleagues. This has included organising the HCSW council, planning activities for the first HCSW day, organising and launching our Primrose award and much more.
Amanda Shobrook, Senior Nurse (Workforce) at NHS England visited Nik to present the award, and they were joined by Deborah Kelly, Chief Nurse, and nursing and podiatry colleagues.
The Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Midwifery Officer awards for healthcare support workers (HCSWs) and maternity support workers (MSWs) are now open for nominations again. To nominate, please complete a nomination form and email to Chantal Baker, Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Lead on chantal.baker@nhs.net by Friday 27 October.
