A huge thank you to everyone at Torbay Hospital for their understanding and patience while we completed the vital work of craning in our modular build for the day theatres expansion over the weekend.
Our capital developments and workplace teams worked around the clock from Friday to Tuesday to facilitate this big step forward for the building programme and to ensure that we remain on track to open the new theatres early next year. Due to the weather the work ran longer than originally planned but we did everything we could t minimise disruption. A special shout out to our capital development team and Jo Brimblecombe and workplace colleagues for going above and beyond to manage the project and the disruption. A big thank you to our traffic team who were onsite from early until late in all weathers to ensure people were directed to available parking spaces.
