Patient weighing scales

Clinical engineering has recently engaged with SECA to support the servicing and repair of all patient weighing scales.

An engineer from SECA will be on site at Torbay Hospital and within the community to audit, service and repair our scales during the next few weeks.

If you have any questions, please engage with the SECA engineer as he is very knowledgeable and will help you with making sure your scales are working correctly and more importantly, are the correct type and specification for your requirements.

If you have any scales that have not been serviced or are located where they might have been missed, please contact clinical engineering by email sdhct.medelec@nhs.net or call 01803 (6)54751 so we can arrange for them to be checked.

Phone day or night (answerphone at night from 5pm to 8am for a call-back) providing your name, the location of the scales (ward name etc) and the ME number.
