Recognising and celebrating our corporate, support and workplace colleagues

Great news! There are a number of national award opportunities to recognise colleagues working in our corporate, support and workplace services.

It is important to recognise the valuable contributions of these teams as their work, though often unseen and underappreciated, plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our services. Patient experience is a significant factor in shaping their perception of care, and by addressing and recognising service-related aspects, we can not only enhance patient-centred care but also create a better working environment for our people.

These awards include:

• Health Estates and Facilities Management Association (HEFMA) awards
• The National My Cleaning Awards in association with NHS England
• The National My Porter Awards in association with NHS England
• Unsung Hero Awards for non-medical, non-clinical NHS staff and volunteers
• NHS Communicate

And importantly, don’t forget our own Our People Awards which is open for nominations for any member of staff.

It would be great to see individuals and/or teams nominated for well-deserved awards for colleagues who do such pivotal work that is often unnoticed. We know the impact that award nominations and wins can have, so please take the time to nominate a colleague or team as your small gesture will have a big impact.
