You can now nominate a speciality, specialist or associate specialist (SAS) doctor that you think has shown excellence in their role for our SAS doctor awards.
Speciality, specialist and associate specialist grade doctors are an essential part of the medical workforce. SAS doctors are a diverse group with a wide range of skills, experience and specialties.
The five categories are:
- Learning, research and development
- Patient safety and quality improvement
- Making a difference (leadership and management
- Innovation and service improvement including new clinical skills
- Respect, teaching and training.
Funded by NHS England, the SAS doctors’ awards aims to recognise and celebrate the excellent contributions they make to our organisation. You can nominate any of our SAS doctors for a specific piece of work, overall contribution or positive impact and effect for our services, your workplace or patient care or outcomes. Please involve the person you are nominating in your nomination.
Nominations are open until 18 September – winners will be announced during SAS week (09 – 13 October)
